Challenges, whether sporting ones or business-related, are part of ORECA’s culture. This is how the Group has been growing for over 40 years. And this is how it continues on developing, in France and worldwide. With passion, ambition and determination. With a strong desire to move forward and solidarity as its main strength.
Competition is still one of ORECA’s essential components. The Group is still very much committed to it, first alongside the team TOYOTA Racing, by bringing its operational support, with its engineers and mechanics, as part of the FIA World Endurance Championship’s premier class. A project which started back in late 2011. Secondly with the Team ORECA which enters two cars in the WRC2 and WRC3 classes of the World Rally Championship.
It is also as a fully-fledged manufacturer that ORECA is involved in competition on a daily basis. Having clinched all LM P2 titles with the ORECA 03, the team has also won the 24 Hours of Le Mans with the ORECA 05, four months only after the new closed-cockpit prototype was born. New challenges are awaiting ORECA now as it has been selected to be one of the four manufacturers to supply LM P2 cars in 2017. After Le Mans, ORECA together with its customer-teams, now aims for victory at the 24 Hours of Daytona and the 12 Hours of Sebring, two races that the team won a couple of years ago.
ORECA’s already existing link with the United States will be strengthened through the opening of a new office in North Carolina, near Charlotte. This will provide the ideal platform for the development of our relationships with teams wishing to compete with the ORECA 05 in Northern America. Additionally we also intends to offer the ORECA brand through a range of specific equipment designed for competitors, professionals and non-professionals.
Competition and the quest for new victories make ORECA’s life. That’s our raison d’être. Our passion. And that is why we wish to share our know-how and experience. Not only through our racing team but also our manufacturing activity and product brand.
