ORECA 03 LMP2

A winner’s

DNA!

After having successfully manufactured the ORECA 01 (LMP1) and the ORECA-FLM 09 (LMPC), ORECA designed a prototype in response to the ACO LMP2 rules and regulations: the ORECA 03 was born!

More than just a car, it benefits from all of the ORECA Group’s experience; from the manufacturer department which in the recent years acquired a design bureau able to carry out many types of projects, and from the operations team, reference in Endurance with a win in the 12 Hours of Sebring! Who better to understand the needs of a private team than a constructor that has participated in the 24 Hours of Le Mans more than 20 times?

As a matter of fact, the ORECA 03 met success on all continents and in every series, right from the start. That means 23 wins in total today, after five years of competition only!

ORECA appreciates and respects the idea behind the LMP2 rules and regulations which set a cap on costs. The design bureau took this parameter into account, not only in terms of purchase price but also regarding operating costs. Experience of the highest level applied to a car that is economical to purchase and to maintain resulted in the ORECA 03.

Considering all of those aspects, the ORECA 03 LMP2 and its most recent version, the ORECA 03R, are still today reference cars in Endurance.
