way of life
Initially racing as part of a one-make series – the Formula Le Mans in 2009 – the ORECA-FLM09 has quickly proved its qualities and potential in endurance. In Europe and Asia, but also in the United States where it has been living the American dream since 2010. Now the “favorite” car of many teams, the ORECA-FLM09 makes up the very lively single-make LM PC class which is always much appreciated in the TUDOR United SportsCar Challenge.
Its resistance has allowed it to clinch some fantastic results in the overall rankings, including podiums and many Top 10 in classic races such as the 12 Hours of Sebring or the 24 Hours of Daytona. With an attractive cost/performance ratio, the ORECA-FLM09 is also a good prototype to start with as a gentleman driver, one of the cars that allow young drivers to come to fame. About thirty chassis have been assembled since 2009 as the car is certified and homologated until late 2016.
