ORECA announces the creation of the ORECA Hugues de Chaunac Endowment Fund, dedicated to children in vulnerable situations. With this initiative, ORECA takes a new step in its social commitment, continuing to support children who are victims of abuse, living with disabilities, or facing hospitalisation.

A structured commitment to support children

Hugues de Chaunac, founder and historic figure of the ORECA Group, is deeply convinced that collective success only has meaning when it extends beyond the company itself. By formalising this commitment through an endowment fund dedicated to children aged 0 to 18, ORECA marks a key milestone in its ambition to be a committed social and solidarity-driven actor.

The Fund focuses on three priority areas: disability and childhood, hospitalised children, child abuse and protection.

Driven by Hugues de Chaunac’s personal sensitivity and the Group’s culture of excellence, this initiative aims to support concrete actions for the most vulnerable children.

To act effectively, the Fund operates through two main levers: direct financial support to partner associations and skills-based sponsorship mobilising ORECA Group’s expertise.

A first initiative alongside Génération Autisme

For its launch, the Endowment Fund is partnering with Génération Autisme, an association supporting children with autism spectrum disorders, for whom adapted educational solutions remain insufficient in France.

The ORECA Hugues de Chaunac Endowment Fund is launching its first action in Marseille by supporting the development of Maison Bleue, a dedicated care and support centre welcoming around a dozen children with autism every week. The aim is to foster learning, autonomy, and personal development.

A long-term commitment

Following an in-depth analysis of the childhood support ecosystem in France¹, the Endowment Fund will expand its action from the second half of 2026 by selecting around ten additional partner associations. The ambition is to build a sustainable, selective approach focused on measurable and meaningful impact.

“Children have always held a special place in my heart, and I am particularly sensitive to those for whom childhood takes a different path. That is why I wanted to act by creating this Endowment Fund, to raise and redistribute funds to carefully selected organisations dedicated to children. We will support them, stand alongside them, and do everything we can to give these children back what should always belong to them: joy and carefree childhood.” Hugues de Chaunac, President of the ORECA Group
