At daybreak, Duqueine Team’s No. 30 ORECA 07 still leads the LMP2 field in the 2026 24 Hours of Le Mans. The night proved no obstacle for the crew of Duqueine Team’s No. 30 ORECA 07. Leading at the end of the first third of the race, Doriane Pin, Richard Verschoor and Julien Andlauer remain out front after sixteen hours of racing. The Franco-Dutch trio has delivered a flawless performance so far, avoiding any significant issues.

As the defending champion, Inter Europol Competition would relish the chance to add a third Le Mans victory to its record. The Polish squad finds itself in the role of hunter as the sun rises over La Sarthe. The No. 343 ORECA 07 of Bijoy Garg, Reshad de Gerus and Nico Müller sits just one minute behind the leader, closely followed by the sister No. 43 ORECA 07 of Jakub Smiechowski, Tom Dillmann and Nicholas Yelloly, winners of the race in 2025.

Vector Sport has slipped back one position. Its No. 26 ORECA 07, shared by Ryan Cullen, Vladislav Lomko and Pietro Fittipaldi, remains within striking distance of third place. Forestier Racing by Panis rounds out the top five with its No. 29 ORECA 07 driven by Louis Rousset, Esteban Masson and Oliver Gray.

CrowdStrike Racing by APR has regained the lead in the LMP2 Pro-Am category. The No. 4 ORECA 07 of George Kurtz, Alexander Quinn and Laurin Heinrich has climbed back into the overall LMP2 top ten and now leads the Pro-Am standings.

AF Corse’s No. 183 ORECA 07 has strengthened its hold on second place in LMP2 Pro-Am. François Perrodo, Matthieu Vaxivière and Ben Barnicoat have built a comfortable gap over AO by TF’s No. 99 ORECA 07 and Proton Competition’s No. 44 entry.

After running into trouble, TDS Racing’s No. 14 ORECA 07, driven by Tobias Lütke, Mathias Beche and Kevin Estre, lost its class lead and spent several minutes in the pits.

Hypercar

Alpine made the most of the night hours. The French manufacturer’s two Hypercars have fought their way back to the edge of the top five. António Félix da Costa, Charles Milesi and Ferdinand Habsburg have moved the No. 35 car up to sixth place. Jules Gounon, Victor Martins and Frédéric Makowiecki have followed closely behind in the sister No. 36 entry, which is classified seventh with eight hours remaining.

Genesis Magma Racing successfully cleared the important milestone of its first night at Le Mans. At sunrise, Mathys Jaubert, André Lotterer and Luis Felipe Derani are knocking on the door of the top ten in the No. 17 GMR-001. The sister No. 19 car of Mathieu Jaminet, Daniel Juncadella and Paul-Loup Chatin currently sits fifteenth.

LMGT3

Kessel Racing remains firmly in the fight for a podium finish in LMGT3. The No. 74 Ferrari, driven by Dustin Blattner, Lorenzo Patrese and Dennis Marschall, runs fourth, around thirty seconds behind the car ahead. Vista AF Corse’s No. 21 Ferrari, shared by François Hériau, Simon Mann and Alessio Rovera, occupies sixth position.
