Le Mans: Flashback 2015

It was just amazing, a true burst of joy! And time stopped just for a moment… To win the 24 Hours, with a new car, entered for the first time, by a private Asian team, is such a feeling of satisfaction and source of motivation for all of us at ORECA.
« Shadow of a doubt… »
The sleepless night leading up to the race was a great moment of solidarity too… and in the last hours when seeing the car going off track and the driver asking for help from the race official… A fraction of a second, thousands of questions went up my mind!
« How about 2016? »
Just like in any competition, we can still improve! By continuing to work on technique, logistics as well as on the support we bring to our customer-teams. We are always looking forward to competing against our rivals, yet maintaining a spirit of fair play. We want our customer-teams and their cars to shine at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. All of the teams involved in the LM P2 programme are motivated, hoping to make an ORECA chassis win again. We do want to live that again!
« An expected victory? »
The ORECA 05 has been designed for the fastest tracks, and particularly Le Mans’s. We were convinced by the hard work we had put in, we were proud of it, though in competition, and especially at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, some uncertainties always remain… With this win we feel like we have gone one step further. It validated our choices and strategy.
