New involvment, New name : « Thiriet by TDS racing »

Motivated by the excellent results in 2011, the TDS racing team and Thiriet surgelés are proud to announce the re-enforcement of their partnership in the Endurance championship. In order to illustrate this new strategic direction the Oreca-Nissan LMP2 will appear under the name of « Thiriet by TDS Racing »

The Objective for 2012 is twofold :
– Participate in the European le Mans series championship
– Achieve a substantial performance during the famous Le Mans race .

The participation to the championship where the LMP2 will compete for the victory is certain, and the Team is presently very hard working to prepare its entry to the mythical Le Mans race. For this program, two drivers are already confirmed : Mathias Bêche and Pierre Thiriet. The Young Vosgian and the Swiss-French have brilliantly driven during their two victories with the Oreca-Nissan LMP2 chassis in 2011, respectively in Spa-Francorchamps in ILMC and Estoril in LMS, and by doing so have secured the 3rd place overall in the championship.

The key objective for 2012 is very clear : Target the other two steps on the podium
