ORECA recruitment test with a Le Mans prototype and Nicolas Minassian !

•    Through its « Arrive and Drive » program, ORECA offers interested drivers an opportunity to drive a true Le Mans prototype on January 31 and February 1 at the Paul Ricard Circuit.
•    Drivers get the chance to take their first laps with Team Endurance Challenge for less than 1000 €.
•    Alongside a 100% ORECA oversight, Nicolas Minassian, the new program’s mentor, will be present for the tests.

With a brand new concept – the « Arrive and Drive » Made by ORECA program– giving drivers interested in running in the European Le Mans Series a turn-key package, Team Endurance Challenge is actively preparing for the 2013 season. Two days of testing will be held at the Paul Ricard Circuit. It’s a dream opportunity to take the wheel of a true Le Mans prototype with the oversight of ORECA and Nicolas Minassian.

Your first laps with Team Endurance Challenge for less than 1000 € !
A 100% ORECA squad, Team Endurance Challenge will be taking part in two days of tests on the Paul Ricard Circuit to give drivers the chance to pilot an LMPC. It’s a never before seen offer : drive a Le Mans Prototype starting at 950 € (plus tax)! This test will be reimbursed for drivers taking part in the season-long efforts of Team Endurance Challenge and several options will be developed for others depending on need. Nicolas Minassian, who will be competing in the entire FIA World Endurance Championship with the Pecom Racing ORECA 03, will be on hand for the tests at the Castellet.

Nicolas Minassian mentor of Team Endurance Challenge…
A top reference in endurance racing with several victories and two podiums at the 24 Hours of Le Mans,
Nicolas Minassian will accompany the Team Endurance Challenge team members in 2013. The Marseille native will offer his expertise and advice  during the entire European Le Mans Series season. « When Hugues de Chaunac offered me this role, I didn’t hesitate for a second » explains Nicolas Minassian, official Peugeot Sport driver from 2007 to 2011. « ORECA has always been innovators and it’s again the case with the « Arrive and Drive » formula. It’s an excellent idea : it will allow drivers to run in a prototype that has proven itself in a competitive championship, all for a reasonable budget. It’s a fantastic chance to gather experience and show off your potential. I’ll be on hand to transmit my experience of racing. It’s something I like to do and I would have liked to have that help. It will be an interesting challenge that will also be beneficial for me. We will all take much pleasure in this experience. »

The Made by ORECA  « Arrive and Drive » program offers drivers from all walks of life the chance to compete in the European Le Mans Series with Team Endurance Challenge. This team is managed by ORECA, winners of the biggest classics in endurance, will run the ORECA-FLM 09 in the LMPC class. This turn-key package is offered at a fixed price of 180 000 € per driver (for a squad of two) for all five rounds of the ELMS. At the conclusion of the season, the duo will have the chance to win an invitation to the 24 Hours of Le Mans and win an LMP2 test ! With another option to take part in the Le Mans Test Day, participating drivers will be taking the best possible route toward a future Le Mans 24 Hours experience !
