Following on Rebellion Racing’s press release, announcing that they will be putting an end to their racing activities after the 2020 24 Hours of le Mans, ORECA Group wants to thank Rebellion Corporation for the human and sporting journey shared since 2014.

This collaboration with one of the major players in Endurance allowed ORECA to carry out huge projects such as designing, developing and manufacturing the Rebellion R-One in 2014 and the Rebellion R-13 in 2018.

This collaboration resulted in numerous successes for Team Rebellion Racing: 20 wins and three trophies in LM P1, one Drivers and Teams LM P2 World Champion title in 2017, one podium at the 2018 24 Hours of Le Mans (3rd), two FIA WEC pole positions in Shanghai and Bahrein and two overall wins (first private team to have ever won) in Silverstone and Shanghai.

Rebellion and ORECA staff are motivated and committed to end this journey on a positive note, as part of the four upcoming races: 6 Hours of Cota, 1,000 Miles of Sebring, 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps and the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans.

“I would like to warmly thank Rebellion Corporation President Alexandre Pesci for having engaged in endurance racing with much passion and commitment, allowing Rebellion Racing to establish itself as one of the major teams of the discipline. This beautiful collaboration, which began in 2014, has been marked by numerous successes and has been a wonderful journey, on both human and sporting aspects, with Rebellion staff and Rebellion Corporation CEO Calim Boudhadra as well as in house for ORECA. Together, our common goal will be to shine in the last four challenges ahead of us.” ORECA Group President Hugues de Chaunac
