The United Autosports team’s #22 ORECA 07 pole-sitter at the first 24 Hours of Le Mans Hyperpole
The Hyperpole was undeniably the highlight of the today’s action at the 24 Hours of Le Mans circuit. After a 30-minute battle, United Autosports’ #22 ORECA 07 scored the pole at the first ever #Hyperpole at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Paul di Resta clocked his best lap in 3:24.528, a new record in the LMP2 class. G-Drive Racing came in second and Racing Team Nederland managed the third best time despite a detour in a gravel trap. High Class Racing, United Autosports and Jackie Chan DC Racing followed.
In LMP1, Gustavo Menezes gave a solid performance at the wheel of the #1 Rebellion R-13, securing the second spot in 3:15.822 just behind the #7 Toyota TS050. The #3 Rebellion will take the start in fourth position.
