Nine months after the 2019 championship final, the start of the 4 Hours of Le Castellet, the start of the 2020 European Le Mans Series, was given this Sunday, July 19 at 3 p.m. At the end of an eventful race (a full course yellow and the intervention of the safety car), it is finally ORECA 07 # 32 of the United Autosports team, formidable throughout the weekend, which imposed. After a solid performance, Graff Racing thought they would secure a nice second place 17 seconds behind the winners, but #39 ORECA 07 were fined for not respecting the driving time. Author of a flawless race, the trio of G-Drive Racing takes a new podium with the Aurus 01, built by ORECA Technology. This spirited crew will be one to watch closely during the next races. Nyck de Vries also signed the fastest lap.

Disabled by a puncture, ORECA 07 #22 was finally ranked third, followed by #37 of Cool Racing. Despite an impressive exit from the road during official tests, the #50 ORECA 07 of Richard Mille Racing Team finally made a good start with a promising Top 5. On the Algarve Pro Racing Team side, the ORECA 07 #24 finished sixth and his sister car, #25 is ninth, just behind #21 of DragonSpeed.
