While the European Le Mans Series season should have started in April in Barcelona, it is finally on the Paul Ricard circuit on July 18 and 19 that the kick-off will be given!

This year, in the European Championship, 13 teams entering a total of 15 ORECA 07 chassis will aim to reach the highest step of the podium! At the forefront, it will be necessary to closely monitor IDEC Sport Racing, which will be keen to defend its title, the G-Drive Racing Team, 2018 Champion or even DragonSpeed, Champion in 2017 and winner of the 4 Hours of Le Castellet last season.

Last year, several teams impressed on the track and will be there again: Graff Racing, third in the Championship in 2019, United Autosports, winner at Spa, Duqueine Team, Algarve Pro Racing, Cool Racing, Panis Racing or High-Class Racing.

Two new entities, Ultimate, which will, however, be absent at Le Castellet, and Richard Mille Racing Team, operated by Signatech with a 100% female crew, will also make up the ORECA delegation.

“Like everyone else, we can’t wait to get back on the track and see the teams on the track again. It is all the more pleasure than it is at home for ORECA Technology, in this beautiful environment that is the Circuit Paul Ricard. The plateau, like the past few seasons, is of a particularly high level in the European Le Mans Series, both at the level of the teams and the drivers. Given the level of performance of each, the diversity of the winning teams or on the podiums in 2019, but also the reinforcements of each other during the off-season, the 2020 edition promises to be particularly disputed. Our goal is, therefore, to provide the best support to the teams. And may the best win!”, Anthony Megevand – ORECA Customer Competition Manager
